Welcome to the McMillan PTA website! The purpose of the PTA is to support and enhance McMillan Junior High School by providing services for school functions, engage in fundraising projects, encourage parent, teacher, and community involvement, and cooperate with school administration in providing educational opportunities. Funds that are raised by the PTA are used to purchase items and equipment that would not otherwise be provided.

McMillan PTA is looking to fill committee roles for 2026–2027. Whether you’ve been involved before or are brand new, no matter your schedule — there’s a place for you. This is a GREAT way to support our school, teachers and all students.

Programs, spirit wear, athletic meals, fundraising and hospitality would not be possible without volunteers. Our PTA is strongest when our amazing parents gets involved. 🤍🖤
With rezoning impacting our school community, many of our valued PTA board members will be transitioning to Parker Junior High or moving on to high schools. Their commitment and heart for our students will truly be missed. This also creates an opportunity for new voices and leaders to step forward. If you are passionate about supporting our students, teachers, and families, please consider serving on the PTA board. Together, we can continue building a strong and supportive school community.

We’re celebrating our amazing teachers with a little “Best of the West” fun all week long! From a Snack Stampede to a Boot Scootin’ Lunch and ending with an Outlaw Picnic, we’re ready to treat our incredible teachers who go above and beyond every day. 💛

Students and parents can get $5 Game Day tickets at the link above. Students, this ticket will also get you into the staff basketball game the same afternoon. We encourage everyone to bring a water bottle! Parents may want to bring a lawn chair.

🍿🎈 McMillan Field Day is happening Monday, May 18! Please remember to put on sunscreen and bring a water bottle! The PTA will be providing FREE popcorn, inflatables, games and music. Plus, a Dippin' Dots ice cream truck will be available for purchases! 🍦
Volunteers are needed for 7th & 8th grade, to help make fresh popcorn, monitor and ensure it an unforgettable day for our students! 😎
All volunteers must have a current background check on file.

We LOVE parent volunteers! We have many fun events PTA will be hosting this year for our Marauders but we need YOUR help! Whether it is donating your time, donating items, or working on projects from your home, there are different ways you can volunteer to help make events a success. Don’t have time to be at the school, but still want to help? Your talents can still be used in various other ways! Please submit the Google Form, putting a check by the events that you would be interested in receiving more information about or would be interested in helping us with. Thank you so much for your support!

Anyone can become a member of the PTA? We encourage everyone to become active members of the PTA including parents, teachers, students, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, community members, and friends!

If you are interested in helping with any program or event at McMillan, please see the sign up. We have Privilege Concessions (Fridays) or Kona Ice truck (Thursday/Friday) as well as several other events throughout the year.

Mark your calendars for our McMillan APEX Fundraiser! During the Apex fundraiser, students will be challenged to get donations from family and friends to help our school. We'll end the 2-week fundraiser with a celebratory event called "The Apex Games" for students who participate in the fundraiser (think inflatables, games, fun raffle prizes, snacks, loud music, high energy, and FUN!)

Reflections Program
Reflections Program
Reflections has been a staple arts program in many schools for over 50 years. Through the efforts of our Local PTAs, millions of students have found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts. This is an annual art contest every fall.

WORLD WEAR PROJECT: We have partnered with World Wear Project to host a textile recycle bin on campus! Your contributions of items including clothing, shoes, belts, purses, wallets, hats, caps, backpacks, hard toys and stuffed animals, will be recycled as secondhand clothing, processed into wiping rags or converted into fiber. Not only will you be doing a good thing for the environment by keeping these items out of landfills, you will also be helping to raise funds for our school! McMillan receives $0.15 for every pound we donate! Drop items off anytime in the bin located in the school parking lot. If your items do not fit in the bin, please do not leave anything on the ground outside of the bin.
